We have worked on the downtown towers for years — Nauru Tower among them. Commercial glass here is mostly curtain wall, which means large uniform panes, restricted access, and a building manager who needs the work done without disturbing tenants.

The commercial case is rarely about comfort alone. It is tenant complaints on the hot elevations, cooling load on a building whose chiller is already at capacity, fading of interior finishes in retail space, and increasingly the safety film question — holding glass together in a hurricane or an impact rather than letting it become shrapnel.
